According to multiple reports<\/b><\/a>, the news comes nearly a year after the show was dropped form its flagship station. <\/p>\n A job posting by Class Rock WIMZ 103.5 in Knoxville first broke the news announcing that the station was \u201csearching for dynamic, creative, and engaging talents to launch a brand-new, live and local morning show.<\/p>\n \u201cWith the legendary John Boy and Billy Network signing off on December 31, we\u2019re seizing the opportunity to create something truly unique and embedded in the community.\u201d <\/p>\n John Isley and Billy James first took to the air together in 1981 with their morning show airing out of 107.9 WBCY in Charlotte. <\/p>\n With their comedy bits John Boy and Billy became popular nationwide.
