Ruston Kelly has gone and got himself hitched in the most country way that a country music star can.<\/p>\n
He proposed to his girlfriend, Tia Cubelic, backstage at the Grand Ole Opry back on Sept. 24 and then went out and told the crowd about it all. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe most important thing I think that happened to me after that was meeting my now-partner,\u201d he told the fans in a clip shared on social media per Taste of Country.<\/b> <\/a>\u201cAnd I would say that she\u2019s my girlfriend, but she\u2019s not \u2026 because I just proposed to her backstage.<\/p>\n \u201cHer family\u2019s here, my family\u2019s here,\u201d he added. \u201cAnd right under a picture of Johnny Cash, I had to pop the question.\u201d<\/p>\n Somehow that stayed off-the-radar a bit until the couple shared the news on their Instagram with as series of photos. <\/p>\n \u201cBackstage at the (Opry) last month me and my best bud became best buds who are getting MARRIED,\u201d Kelly wrote. <\/p>\n Taste of Country said that Kelly, 37, is currently out on the road supporting his new album, \u201cPale, Through the Window,\u201d which was inspired by Cubelic. <\/p>\n \u201cHis new fianc\u00e9e was a driving forced behind each and every track,\u201d a release on his website about the album reads. \u201cAcross 13 tracks, Kelly captures a season of radical change, newfound joy and hard-win peace, pairing deeply personal lyricism with an expansive sonic landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n This will be his second marriage as he was previously married to fellow country music star Kacey Musgraves.
