Is there anything more exciting than giving your baby new foods? I remember watching in fascination to see if my little ones would enjoy bananas or avocados, laughing at their scrunched-up faces to green beans, and feeling surprised by their love of refried beans. One classic food to introduce is one you won\u2019t expect your toddler to like: lemons! Lemons are sour, and their reactions are usually downright hilarious \u2014 but not for Olivia Munn\u2019s baby M\u00e9i. She had a surprising reaction to her first lemon that has everyone impressed.<\/p>\n
\u201cHer first lemon,\u201d the Your Friends & Neighbors <\/em>star wrote over a video of her 1-year-old daughter on Instagram<\/a>. M\u00e9i looks adorable in a brown-and-white gingham dress with ruffled sleeves and a matching bow in her long brown hair. She is sitting in a high chair with her tray filled with rice and veggies.<\/p>\n More from SheKnows<\/strong><\/p>\n As M\u00e9i brings the slice of lemon up to her lips, she looks straight at her mom and takes a bite. She just chews it like it\u2019s a chunk of watermelon or a strawberry, looks at it, then takes another bite. This time, she goes hard, biting into it like it\u2019s nothing more than a lemon-shaped teether. This baby isn\u2019t affected by the sourness of the lemon at all<\/em>!<\/p>\n \u201cStraight from the rind and she doesn\u2019t even flinch. \ud83c\udf4b \ud83c\udf4b \ud83c\udf4b,\u201d Munn captioned the video.<\/p>\n Basically everyone was just as impressed as we were. \u201c\u2019When life gives you lemons, you eat them.\u2019 -Mei Mei,\u201d one person joked. Another praised, \u201c\ud83e\udd70It\u2019s the Vietnamese side of Mei! Nothing will scare her \ud83d\udc9b\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSheesh! Someone else asked, \u201cHow is this possible!!??\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s ready to go on Hot Ones with her daddy! \ud83c\udf36\ufe0f \ud83c\udf4b,\u201d another suggested.<\/p>\n This just goes to show that every baby is different!<\/p>\n Munn, who shares M\u00e9i and son Malcolm, 3, with husband John Mulaney, celebrated her daughter\u2019s first birthday last month with a plum-and-dragon-themed party (she was born in the year of the dragon and her name means \u201cplum\u201d).<\/p>\n \u201cShe is the happiest, smiliest baby who will also let you know exactly when she doesn\u2019t like something or want something you won\u2019t give her (she mostly wants all the sharp things \ud83d\ude11),\u201d Munn wrote on Instagram<\/a>. \u201cShe is absolutely in love with her big brother, if I\u2019m in the room she insists that I be the one to hold her and her daddy is the only one who can put her to bed.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s so cute when she drinks out of straws, she wants to be independent but also have me carry her \u2026 her favorite cuisine is Thai and no matter what room she\u2019s in she always manages to find the outlets \ud83d\udd0c\ud83d\ude35\u200d\ud83d\udcab ,\u201d Munn continued. \u201cShe\u2019s crawling, standing and desperate to walk.
