You could say Tom Cruise<\/a> had a Paramount opportunity to visit the cast and crew of NCIS:<\/a> Origins<\/a> this week.<\/p>\n In an Instagram post<\/a> on Thursday, NCIS: Origins co-creator David J. North<\/a> revealed that Cruise had popped into the show\u2019s set at Paramount Pictures Studios the day before.<\/p>\n \u201cAs we kick off a new season of Origins, it was awesome to have @tomcruise stop by yesterday to hang out and show so much support to our show and the entire @ncisverse,\u201d North wrote.<\/p>\n Cruise\u2019s visit was especially meaningful considering North said he and co-creator Gina Lucita Monreal<\/a> found inspiration in one of the actor\u2019s movies when crafting the NCIS: Origins locations. \u201c@ginalucita and I took inspo from the bar in Top Gun<\/a> when we dreamt up our bar, Daly\u2019s, so we were stoked he approved, lol,\u201d he wrote. \u201cThanks for all the advice and the love, Tom.\u201d<\/p>\n In his post, North shared a slideshow of photos of him and Cruise posing side by side, Cruise and NCIS: Origins lead Austin Stowell<\/a> (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) yukking it up. Cruise also FaceTimed with The Outsiders<\/a> costar Emilio Estevez<\/a> during his visit as he greeted Taylor Estevez, Emilio\u2019s son, who works in special effects on the show. And Caleb Foote<\/a>, who played Bernard \u201cRandy\u201d Randolf on the show, goofed around for Emilio\u2019s benefit as Cruise held the phone.<\/p>\n And in a pic shared on the official NCISverse Instagram account<\/a>, Cruise poses for a group photo alongside North, Stowell, Foote, Taylor, and NCIS: Origins costars Tyla Abercrumbie<\/a> (Mary Jo Hayes) and Daniel Bellomy (Herm Daniels).<\/p>\n In an Instagram video of her own<\/a>, Abercrumbie said she got to dance with Cruise during his visit. \u201cI was like, \u2018I love your work. All your work. I\u2019ve seen Risky Business<\/a>, but \u2026 I love and watch often the dance from Tropic Thunder<\/a>,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cI danced with Tom Cruise a little bit. A little bit!\u201d<\/p>\n Cruise\u2019s visit came just one day after NCIS: Origins\u2019 Season 2 premiere on October 14. And CBS has already teased the next episode: In a logline for that October 21 installment, the network says, \u201cWhen the body of a college swimmer washes up on the beach, the team must determine if it was an accident or murder.
