Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a> and Ryan Reynolds<\/strong><\/a> are enjoying Spooky Season despite the actress\u2019 ongoing legal battle with her former It Ends With Us<\/em> costar and director, Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, October 18, the Deadpool<\/em> actor, 48, shared a new selfie via his Instagram Story featuring his wife, 38, posing alongside a spooky creation by Big Head Balloons<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The balloon animal \u2014 a Halloween-esque spider attached to a light pole in New York City \u2014 was one of many created by the company, which offers \u201cballoon fun in your home or at your event by a NYC original,\u201d per its official Instagram page.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is a creation of the wonderful @bigheadballoons,\u201d Reynolds wrote in a previous post shared via Instagram Story on the same day. \u201cApologies to those who rushed to investigate insane screaming. I didn\u2019t even know if twas me making the sound to begin with.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cAlso, gentle reminder about how full your hearts felt hearing the news how Ghost Spiders aren\u2019t a real-life problem everyone has to just deal with. The paramedics said the ozone layer is healing. She said nobody talks about that either.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the selfie, Reynolds could be seen wearing a beige coat zipped over a soft yellow shirt and paired with black slacks. Lively, for her part, wore a heavier-looking tweed coat with her hair down in long, beach-ready waves.<\/p>\n

The festive pic comes amid Lively\u2019s ongoing legal battle with Baldoni<\/a>. The very public back and forth began in December 2024, when the actress accused her It Ends With Us<\/em> costar and director of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and launching an alleged smear campaign against her. Baldoni vehemently denied the allegations and countersued Lively.<\/p>\n

Baldoni\u2019s lawsuit against Lively was later dismissed by a judge. Lively\u2019s lawsuit remains ongoing. It is scheduled for trial in March 2026.<\/p>\n

On Friday, October 17, People<\/em> reported that multiple stars of It Ends With Us<\/em> were called in for depositions<\/a>, including Lively\u2019s costars Jenny Slate<\/strong><\/a> and Isabela Ferrera<\/strong>, as well as book author Colleen Hoover<\/strong>, who wrote the hit novel that inspired the film.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, Hoover recently sat down for a deposition. Slate, who played the sister of Baldoni\u2019s character, and Ferrer, who portrayed the younger version of Lively\u2019s character, were reportedly deposed over the summer.<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to representatives for Slate, Ferrera and Hoover for comment.<\/p>\n

When Lively first came forward with her allegations against Baldoni, Slate publicly supported her.<\/p>\n
