Her win was met with thunderous applause and plenty of love from fans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This year marks 60 years since Alley Mills, 74, started acting on TV. She has appeared in over 60 TV productions, including sitcoms, dramas, and made-for-TV movies. The one she is most recognized for is the &#8217;80s beloved hit sitcom, <em>The Wonder Years<\/em>. She played mom, Norma Arnold, for the series&#8217; 6-season run. Since 2006, she has found a home in daytime TV, appearing on both <em>The Bold &amp; the Beautiful<\/em> as the kooky but lovable Pamela Douglas and <em>General Hospital<\/em> as the crazy Heather Webber.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Mills received her first Emmy nomination and win in 2023 in the category Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series for her portrayal of Heather. She was nominated again the following year, but the Emmy went to <strong>Dick Van Dyke<\/strong> for his successful guest run as Timothy Robicheaux.
