That\u2019s how the invite begins for an upcoming free screening of the new Emma Stone<\/a> movie \u201cBugonia<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n The screening<\/a> is only open to bald people<\/a>. But no worries for anyone who\u2019s not.<\/p>\n \u201cIf you are not bald, we will have a barber on site to shave your head in order for you to watch the film,\u201d the invitation says.<\/p>\n You know, just a casual balding.<\/p>\n The Academy Award-winning Stone stars alongside Jesse Plemons and newcomer Aidan Delbis in the intense film, a potent blend of thriller, sci-fi and black comedy written by Will Tracy (\u201cThe Menu,\u201d \u201cSuccession\u201d) and helmed by the celebrated director Yorgos Lanthimos<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cBugonia\u201d is an adaptation of the 2003 South Korean film \u201cSave the Green Planet!<\/a>\u201d directed by Jang Joon-hwan<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stone plays Michelle Fuller, the powerful CEO of a big pharmaceutical company in the Focus Features movie, opening in theaters Oct. 24<\/a>.<\/p>\n Plemons plays Teddy Gatz, who is deep into a conspiracy theory about aliens who look like humans controlling human affairs.<\/p>\n Teddy gets his cousin Don (Delbis) wrapped up in the conspiracy and the two of them abduct Fuller, who Teddy believes to be an alien.<\/p>\n Stone\u2019s head is shaved early on in the movie, which also features Stavros Halkias as a police officer and Alicia Silverstone as Sandy Gatz, Teddy\u2019s very ill mother.<\/p>\n The \u201cbald screening<\/a>\u201d is set for Oct. 20 at the Culver Theater in Culver City, California \u2014 the barber will be there two hours before showtime.
