It’s been over a decade since When Calls the Heart<\/a><\/em> first premiered on Hallmark<\/a>, and we can’t get enough of it!<\/p>\n The show follows a community confronting the challenges of living in a frontier town in the early 20th century. Much of the plot revolves around schoolteacher Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow<\/a><\/strong>), who has experienced love, tragedy and everything in between over 12 seasons on air.<\/p>\n The hit drama is in the middle of filming its historic season 13<\/a> and fans are wondering if they’ll have the chance to see new episodes of When Calls the Heart<\/em> this year. Hallmark did give us a major clue about when season 13 will premiere with new episodes… and it seems like it’s sooner than we think.<\/p>\n Thanks to a surprise preview trailer back in August, fans learned When Calls the Heart<\/strong><\/em> season 13 will premiere sometime in 2026 on Hallmark.<\/strong><\/p>\n “Just a little reminder that we\u2019ve got MORE When Calls the Heart coming your way in 2026, #Hearties!” the caption read on Instagram<\/a> at the time. “What are your hopes and dreams for season thirteen?!“<\/strong><\/p>\n Naturally, seeing this WCTH<\/em> news left fans screaming in excitement on returning to Hope Valley.<\/p>\n “Can\u2019t wait. I started watching earlier this year and have finished all 12 seasons. \u2764\ufe0f\u2764\ufe0f,” one person wrote in the comments. “Is it 2026 yet? \ud83e\udef6,” another penned. “I don\u2019t want this show to end!!! I hope there are more seasons to come after this new season \ud83d\ude4c\ud83d\udd25\u2764\ufe0f,” a different follower added.<\/p>\n While we don’t know much about what to expect from When Calls the Heart<\/em> season 13, we do know two major stars will be making their grand returns to the show.
