Only months after her father, Ozzy Osbourne<\/a><\/strong>, died in July, the rocker’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne<\/a><\/strong>, revealed that her beloved dog, Elvis, died this past week.<\/p>\n The 40-year-old shared the tough news on Instagram on Oct. 19, sharing a couple of photos and a video of her late dog Elvis as she paid tribute to him in a meaningful message. She began the caption, “It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week.”<\/p>\n “Our guardian angel has left us,” she went on. “Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life.”<\/p>\n Kelly noted that she is “trying to find a positive in all of this,” before admitting, “The only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him. Life can be so cruel but also give you many treasures. We were so lucky to have Elvis for 14 years.”<\/p>\n She concluded the emotional note with the sendoff, “Thank you for all the love Elvis you were [one] of a kind. May he run free playing happily with your dad \ud83e\udef6,” read another earnest comment from a fan, while someone else said, “I\u2019m so sorry Kelly this has been a rough time for you and your family I\u2019m praying for you and love you and your family.”<\/p>\n Many more fans shared their own experiences losing a pet, sending prayers and love to Kelly and her entire family in this difficult period.<\/p>\n A different fan complimented Kelly on how she’s been dealing with everything this year, writing, “So sorry for your loss! \ud83d\ude22You have been through so much and handled everything with such grace! \u2764\ufe0f.”<\/p>\n The loss of Kelly’s dog comes only a few months after her father died at the end of July.
