\u201cWell, we are not making a ham and cheese toastie,\u201d David explained as he pushed on with kitchen duties that spanned preparing chicken for the oven and making the traditional British dish of Yorkshire pudding. He added, \u201cWe love you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Victoria captioned the pair\u2019s exchange, \u201cI won\u2019t take it personally!\u201d<\/p>\n
As Victoria kept checking in on her husband, whom she married in 1999 after dating him for two years, her camera also caught the former athlete shooting glasses of tequila.<\/p>\n
\u201cGet it down you, David,\u201d Victoria said before asking how many he\u2019d drunk throughout the day\u2019s cooking journey. \u201cEight,\u201d David responded while pulling out a bubbling cauliflower and cheese dish.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s impressive. You are my hero \u2026 [you\u2019re doing] finishing touches, whilst I can\u2019t even make a cheese and ham sandwich. You\u2019ve done an entire Sunday dinner for our family who are visiting. I love you,\u201d Victoria concluded once David\u2019s meal had finally come together.<\/p>\n
