{"id":2103341,"date":"2025-10-20T09:46:32","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T09:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/?p=2103341"},"modified":"2025-10-20T09:46:32","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T09:46:32","slug":"xo-share-fierce-new-single-real-friends-co-written-by-charli-xcx","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celebrity.land\/en\/xo-share-fierce-new-single-real-friends-co-written-by-charli-xcx\/","title":{"rendered":"XO share fierce new single &#8216;Real Friends&#8217;, co-written by Charli XCX"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/XO\">XO<\/a> have recently (October 17) shared a fierce new single called \u2018Real Friends\u2019 that\u2019s been co-written by <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/charli-xcx\">Charli XCX<\/a> \u2013 listen to it below.<\/p>\n<p>Their latest single, which is described in a statement as a \u201cswaggering and empowered electro-pop anthem that champions those who will always be on your side\u201d, is the follow up to their debut single, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=EXIiiLH0F9o\">\u2018Lovesick\u2019,<\/a> which was released last month.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s written by the band alongside Charli XCX, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/sabrina-carpenter\">Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> collaborator John Ryan and Sweden\u2019s Mattias Larsson.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking about the track and their ascent since August 2024, the band\u2019s Zo\u00eb Miller said: \u201cWe\u2019re not quite Hollywood Hills yet.
