Vanessa Kirby<\/strong><\/a> is a mom!<\/p>\n

The Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/em><\/a> actress, 37, has welcomed her first child with retired lacrosse player Paul Rabil<\/strong>, as announced by the sportsman in an Instagram<\/a> post on Sunday, October 19.<\/p>\n

Rabil, 39, posted several photos of the newborn on Sunday, including a picture of the little one resting on his father\u2019s bare chest. In another snap, Kirby is seen lying with the baby on a bed, while another picture features a closeup of the baby\u2019s foot.<\/p>\n

Rabil concluded the slideshow with a photo of two lacrosse sticks.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m learning that becoming a parent slows you down and wakes you up at the same time,\u201d the athlete turned sports executive captioned the post. \u201cThat I\u2019m really grateful for everyone\u2019s health, that I get to wake up every day to mum\u2019s enormous love, and that we get to have you in our lives now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor your first cradle stick. It\u2019ll hold many stories and blessings. Likely broken windows too. Balls are allowed in the house \ud83e\udd0d,\u201d Rabil added in the caption.<\/p>\n

The couple have yet to confirm the baby\u2019s name or sex.<\/p>\n

Kirby confirmed her pregnancy when she showed off her baby bump at a Fantastic Four: First Steps<\/em> red carpet event at the CCXPMX Film Festival in Mexico City in May.<\/p>\n

A month later, Rabil addressed the news in an Instagram<\/a> post. \u201cSome news\u2026life\u2019s greatest adventure is beginning soon. We\u2019re very grateful for your love and support. Especially the advice. Mum\u2019s a superhero. I\u2019m just really lucky,\u201d he captioned a photo of his partner\u2019s baby bump.<\/p>\n

Kirby and Rabil were first linked in October 2022<\/a>. He confirmed their relationship more than a year later in a November 2023 Instagram post featuring photos of the couple. \u201cFrom the very minute we first met in des moines, around the world and back, life is far better, more purposeful and more beautiful with you \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

In July, the Crown<\/em><\/a> actress opened up about wearing a prosthetic baby bump in the latest Marvel Studios blockbuster, which she said was heavier than her own bump.<\/p>\n

\u201cI honestly think a lot of people think it\u2019s a stunt of some kind. It\u2019s just crazy timing,\u201d Kirby said of her real-life pregnancy.<\/p>\n
