Her death was considered of natural causes.<\/p>\n Her death certificate also shared that Jane <\/strong>had suffered from epilepsy.<\/p>\n She first observed chimpanzees in Tanzania in 1960, and studied their interactions and habits for the next 60 years. She was also named a UN Messenger of Peace, and an honorary member of the World Future Council.
