The number one question people have asked after this recent Prince Andrew<\/a> drama and proof of how far Prince William<\/a> is willing to go to maintain the monarchy\u2019s good image is, will he stop there? His feud with his younger brother, Prince Harry<\/a>, seems alive and well despite the fact that Harry has taken steps towards reconciling with their father, King Charles. So, what could William do next?<\/p>\n

Royal insider Tom Syke says William has big plans to streamline the monarchy. \u201cPrince William<\/a> will strip Prince Andrew, along with all other non-working royals, of their HRHs and princely titles when he ascends to the throne, friends and allies of the Prince have (said),\u201d\u00a0he wrote in <\/a>T<\/em><\/a>he Daily Beast<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThe dramatic change will be effected by an executive royal order known as \u2018letters patent\u2019 ratified by Parliament in the early weeks of the reign of King William V,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will remove princely titles not just from Andrew<\/a> but also from Beatrice, Eugenie, Harry, Archie, and Lilibet<\/a>.\u201d The children of Prince Edward and Princess Anne have never used any titles that need to be stripped.<\/p>\n

A source even said that Prince William\u2019s old children may have their titles informally \u201cparked\u201d until they become adults and decide if they want to be full-time working royals or not. The three are reportedly never addressed by their titles anyway.<\/p>\n

William is said to not be happy with the announcement made by Prince Andrew that he would stop using his title and honors, as he wanted the title of prince removed too. Someone on William\u2019s camp told the Daily Beast: \u201cOn Wednesday, the king\u2019s office was saying that removing the dukedom would be a completely lame and ineffectual gesture unless you took away the prince title as well. On Friday, it\u2019s suddenly the other way round, and persuading him to drop the duke title, without even taking it away, is being held up as a triumph of the king\u2019s steely will. His operation is a mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another source close to William added, \u201cIt should have been done by Charles this week, but William knows he doesn\u2019t have the strength because of his illness. William is understanding of his father\u2019s situation. William won\u2019t be afraid to take the next step.\u201d<\/p>\n

In fact, The Daily Beast<\/a><\/em>\u00a0had previously reported that according to a friend of William, \u201cHe absolutely f***ing hates\u201d his brother Harry. That same source also added that, \u201cWilliam will never, ever forgive Harry for what he has done. Charles is the king; he can do what he likes. But make no mistake: William believes with every fiber of his being that giving Harry and Meghan back any royal imprimatur is a huge mistake.\u201d<\/p>\n

Whether that translates to stripping him and his kids of their titles, or Prince William is doing this because he really wants only those people who are working as royals to continue to carry the title, we will have to wait and see. A reconciliation with his brother might still be possible, title or not.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
