The Walt Disney Company will commemorate the US\u2019s 250th anniversary with the \u201cDisney Celebrating America\u201d event at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort from Nov. 11, Veteran\u2019s Day, through the 2026 July 4th weekend.<\/p>\n

Part and parcel to the event will be the 2026 opening of Soarin\u2019 Across America, an immersive flight experience at the Soarin\u2019 attractions in California Adventure Park and EPCOT.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Soarin\u2019 Across America attraction will add a new airborne element at Disney California Adventure Park and EPOCT, transporting guests on a breathtaking journey, highlighting some of the country\u2019s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes,\u201d Disney<\/a> said.<\/p>\n

As part of the celebration, Disney will extend invitations to US military families to attend one-of-a-kind events and experiences at military bases throughout the country.<\/p>\n

And, in November, Disney Experiences will introduce 2026 offers at Walt Disney World Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line<\/a> for eligible service members to thank them for their service.<\/p>\n

On the July 4th weekend in 2026, the \u201cDisney Celebrating America\u201d event will conclude with 24-hour of programming from Disney\u2019s networks and streaming platforms, followed by fireworks displays at Disneyland and Disney World<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cDavid Muir, anchor and managing editor of \u2018World News Tonight with David Muir,\u2019 will lead the daylong coverage and be joined by ABC News anchors and correspondents reporting from across the country for this one-in-a-lifetime presentation featuring top entertainers, athletes, explorers, and historians \u2013 all coming together to spotlight the wonder, achievements, and dreams that define the American spirit,\u201d Disney said.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt its heart, America\u2019s story is one of imagination, ambition and possibility \u2013 the same ideals that have guided Disney since the beginning,\u201d said Robert I. Iger, chief executive officer of The Walt Disney Company.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis celebration honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what\u2019s next,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n
