Tom Bower has claimed Prince Andrew should be “exiled” and warned there is more “terrible, incriminating stuff to come”.<\/p>\n

Speaking to GB News, the Royal Biographer urged Parliament to “strip Andrew of his titles” before the reputation of the Royal Family is “very badly damaged”.<\/p>\n\n

The Metropolitan Police have confirmed they are “actively looking into” claims that Prince Andrew sought to have his police protection officer investigate his late accuser, Virginia Giuffre.<\/p>\n

“We are aware of media reporting and are actively looking into the claims made,” they told GB News.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Speaking to GB News host Martin Daubney, Mr Bower launched a scathing attack on the monarchy’s response to the crisis, describing the Palace as experiencing “panic” with “rudderless leadership”. <\/p>\n

He said: “One has a feeling there’s panic in the Palace, rudderless leadership. Everything is causing huge damage to the Royal Family and to Britain, and it was all predictable months, if not years, ago.<\/p>\n

“Ever since the Newsnight interview, which, of course, shouldn’t have happened.”<\/p>\n

The biographer also condemned the absence of intervention from senior Government figures. He noted that the cabinet secretary has remained “invisible” whilst the Prime Minister “has done nothing”, leaving the monarchy to drift into what he termed “an unbelievable quagmire”.<\/p>\n

He explained: “The Palace has just let it trundle on until the Mail Sunday released the emails and all the rest. And there’s so much more terrible, incriminating stuff to come. And where’s it all going to end?<\/p>\n

“One just realises that The King needs to take a firm hand. He’s ill, he hasn\u2019t got good advisors. I think Prince William has been remiss in not stepping in and being more of an influence on his father.<\/p>\n

“I think the cabinet secretary is invisible, the Prime Minister has done nothing. The great and the good, the wise men, the establishment of Britain is allowing the monarchy just to drift into an unbelievable quagmire.”<\/p>\n

Mr Bower insisted that decisive action must be taken immediately to protect the monarchy’s standing. He called for Parliament to remove Andrew’s remaining titles and demanded the Duke be sent into exile.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

“It’s interesting that so far, only two Brits have really been incriminated, Andrew and Lord Mandelson.”<\/p>\n

Mr Bower concluded: “One just knows that Prince Andrew, unfortunately, is a congenital liar, and unfortunately the King and his staff and his advisors didn’t get a grip on this a lot earlier and say it’s got to end.<\/p>\n

“Parliament should strip Andrew of his titles. Andrew should be exiled. We’ve got to call a halt to this before the Royal Family’s reputation is really very badly damaged.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
