Exclusive: Blair Fetter<\/a> is leaving Netflix<\/a> after more than 13 years as a TV executive, most recently as VP, Spectacle Series Ucan<\/a> (U.S. and Canada). His last day will be Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Fetter\u2019s departure had been in the works for several weeks, with him initiating the conversation, sources said. It comes two months after the exit of fellow Netflix veteran Peter Friedlander<\/a> as Head of Ucan Scripted Series. Friedlander has since been named Head of Global TV for Amazon MGM Studios.<\/p>\n

In only his second job in the business, Fetter joined Netflix in April 2012 as Director, Original Series, becoming part of the team that worked on the streamer\u2019s inaugural slate of original series. He was promoted to VP in 2021 and has been focusing on spectacle projects, most recently under Nne Ebong<\/a>, VP, Studio Scripted Series.<\/p>\n
