Antonio shared his pride for his daughter and her choice to honor her roots with Hola!<\/em> magazine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Stella Banderas<\/a> kept her father Antonio Banderas<\/a> in mind when deciding where to say \u201cI do.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with Stella’s mom Melanie Griffith<\/a>, the Spanish actor, 65, was present as the 29-year-old wed her longtime love<\/a>, Alex Gruszynski, in Spain on Saturday, Oct. 18. Stella, who was born in the European country but raised in Los Angeles, chose her wedding destination with both herself and her father in mind, she told Hola!<\/em><\/a> magazine.<\/p>\n Stella always wanted her wedding to be in Spain, and feels connected to her father\u2019s roots in M\u00e1laga, she told the magazine. The Marbella-born bride did not, however, end up selecting her father\u2019s home city or her own, both of which are located in Spain\u2019s Andalusia region. Instead, she chose the Castilla region for her and Gruszynski\u2019s nuptials, per Hola!<\/em><\/p>\n Getting married in a country that holds such significance for her family made the bride feel “lucky,” and made her father very proud, according to the magazine.<\/p>\n
