DWTS’ Derek Hough May Have Accidentally Revealed Sex of First Baby With Hayley Erbert<\/p>\n

The <\/span>American Idol<\/span><\/em><\/a> host\u2014who began his <\/span>Wheel of Fortune<\/span><\/em><\/a> hosting duties last year\u2014has now also taken over <\/span>Pat Sajak<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s <\/span>Celebrity Wheel of Fortune<\/span><\/em> gig, where he recently welcomed <\/span>Dancing With the Stars<\/span><\/em> judges <\/span>Derek Hough<\/strong><\/a> and <\/span>Bruno Tonioli<\/strong> as guests. However, one particular moment from the pair\u2019s visit ended up spurring a new decorum rule for contestants on the game show.<\/span><\/p>\n

“In the commercial break, [Derek] was jumping on the center of the wheel and having Bruno spin it, much like the top of a cake ornament,” Ryan told <\/span>USA Today<\/span><\/em><\/a> in a joint interview with <\/span>Vanna White<\/strong><\/a> published Oct. 17. “We did say, ‘Please don’t do that. That would break it, and there’s only one of those wheels.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The 50-year-old added, \u201cIf that breaks, we have a real problem.’\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead, he asked Derek to stand on the contestants\u2019 podium, which is allowed, noting, “We had to sort of say, ‘Stick to the ledge.'”<\/span><\/p>\n

Despite the mishap, Ryan enjoyed having the <\/span>Dancing With the Stars<\/span><\/em><\/a> personalities on set for the Sept. 29 episode.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
