A few of Amy Robach<\/strong>\u2019s friends are on the fence about her recent engagement<\/a> to T.J. Holmes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The former GMA 3<\/em> cohosts announced they were walking down the aisle on the October 14 episode of their eponymous podcast after being in a relationship for over three years.<\/p>\n

An insider told Page Six<\/em><\/a> on Monday, October 20 that some of Robach\u2019s inner circle is hesitant about her and Holmes\u2019 relationship.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know many people who like T.J.,\u201d said the source. \u201cShe still has her besties and anyone who truly cares wants her [to be] happy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Conversations surrounding the wedding \u201caren\u2019t of excitement,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

According to the outlet, it\u2019s not the first time friends have been weary of Robach\u2019s romance with Holmes, 48. In 2023, Page Six<\/em> claimed that pals were worried that the 52-year-old TV reporter gave up her career for love.<\/p>\n

ABC subsequently fired them from Good Morning America<\/em> shortly after.<\/p>\n

The pair dished about their engagement on their podcast earlier this month, saying that they had been engaged for about a month at that point.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to; we\u2019ve learned that lesson, I guess, in the past about our relationship,\u201d Holmes said on the radio program. \u201cWe\u2019re actually surprised that we\u2019re just now talking about it. We wanted to let you all know before anybody else was able to.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI was in three massive football stadiums three weekends in a row, wearing my engagement ring very proudly, very excitedly, just waiting for somebody to point it out or ask me, \u2018Hey, what\u2019s that?\u2019 And it never happened,\u201d Robach gushed.<\/p>\n
