In Season 4, he was deadly because he could infiltrate your mind and manipulate you in that manner. Now he can kick your ass in truly violent ways, like Freddy on steroids.\u201d<\/p>\n According to Empire, Henry Creel\u2019s character inspiration was Nightmare on Elm Street<\/a>\u2018s Freddy Krueger<\/a>. As the Netflix<\/a> series pays tribute to \u201980s films, many similarities exist between Vecna and the metal-clawed antagonist. Both starting as evil beings in their human forms, their transformative, grotesque appearances and psychologically violent powers make them both scary to look at and understand.<\/p>\n With Vecna gaining real-world powers to psychologically and physically defeat you, fans will be in for a wild ride.
