Snoop Dogg<\/a> used his first steal of the season on The Voice<\/a><\/em> Monday night (Oct. 20), stepping in after Niall Horan chose to advance Kirbi<\/a> following an emotional Battle-round performance of Lauren Daigle\u2019s<\/a> \u201cYou Say.\u201d<\/p>\n

Paired against Carolina Rodriguez for Team Niall\u2019s final Battle, Kirbi and Carolina delivered a soaring and intimate take on Daigle\u2019s Grammy-winning ballad.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was beautiful,\u201d Horan said. \u201cIt was emotional, it was everything we want in a Battle. What\u2019s really hard is you two have become such good friends over this. Kirbi, that rasp is so beautiful at the top of your register. Not many people have that. Like Snoop said, you looked like a veteran up there. Carolina, the way you started that song, to sing low in your register, straight out of the gate, was so impressive.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ultimately, Horan chose Kirbi, explaining, \u201cShe really gave me the emotion that I wanted from that song.\u201d But before Carolina could exit, Snoop hit his button, using his first successful steal of the Battle rounds to add her to his team.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe thing I loved about Carolina the most was her growth, hearing her from the Blinds to now,\u201d Snoop said. \u201cYou could tell she\u2019s ready.\u201d<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, Max Chambers and Aarik Duncan performed \u201cJust the Two of Us,\u201d drawing praise from Snoop for their chemistry. \u201cYou complemented each other instead of outworking each other,\u201d he said, adding that Max would be his pick for the win. Horan agreed, saying, \u201cAarik, you\u2019ve taken it to a different level, man. You really stood out in a great way. And\u00a0Max, you\u2019re just a complete natural.\u201d<\/p>\n

Other Battle pairings included Aiden Ross and Ava Nat performing Niall\u2019s own duet \u201cWhat a Time,\u201d while Leyton Robinson and Manny Costello took on Chris Stapleton\u2019s \u201cThink I\u2019m in Love With You.\u201d Vinya Chhabra and Conrad Khalil sang \u201cIt Takes Two,\u201d and Team Snoop\u2019s Emmanuel Rey and Mindy Miller delivered \u201cAngel From Montgomery.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heading into the final night of Battles, each coach has one more pairing left. Michael Bubl\u00e9 also has one steal remaining.<\/p>\n
