Ben Stiller<\/a> is offering some encouraging words for comedians as they continue to navigate these \u201cchallenging\u201d times for comedy in the wake of Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s second term in the White House.<\/p>\n

The actor-director-producer behind several iconic comedies shared some advice during a recent interview with the Radio<\/a> Times magazine, as he was promoting his new Apple TV documentary Stiller & Meara: Nothing Is Lost.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cWe live in a world where taking chances with comedy is more challenging,\u201d Stiller said. \u201cYou\u2019re seeing that front and center in our country.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cBut I think it\u2019s important that comedians keep doing what they\u2019re doing, speaking truth to power and being free to say what they want. That\u2019s the most important thing.\u201d<\/p>\n
