He said, &#8220;Like my relationship with Rocky with my dad, The X-Files is one of those things with my mom. My mom means the world to me \u2014 she\u2019s actually here tonight \u2014 so this is a big one for me. But one thing that he won&#8217;t confirm is the involvement of Danielle Deadwyler in the project. He dodged the question by simply saying that he can &#8220;neither confirm nor deny&#8221; the actor&#8217;s involvement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It would be exciting to see how Coogler takes forward the legacy created by the sci-fi horror series in the 90s. In 2025, he reinvented horror with Sinners and gave a unique perspective on the stories surrounding vampires. The film went on to become a massive hit and grossed over $366 million at the global box office. Apart from being a financial success, it was praised for its storytelling, direction, performances, cinematography, music, and sound design. As of now, it is being considered a frontrunner for this year&#8217;s awards season, which is about to begin.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">With Sinners, Coogler made it clear that he can tackle any genre and infuse his signature style into every story, no matter the subject and setting.
