Community Action Partnership of Strafford County announced it has changed the venue for its upcoming fundraiser scheduled for Friday, Oct. 24 from The Music Hall<\/a> in Portsmouth to a new location.<\/p>\n\n

The concert with Yachtley Crew will now be held at Black Rock Social Club<\/a> at 140 West Road in Portsmouth. All proceeds from the event support the housing programs and clients at Community Action Partnership of Strafford County.<\/p>\n

Tickets to the event will allow guests early access to this new space, before it opens its doors publicly in December. Doors will open at 6 p.m. so attendees can experience the amenities of the Black Rock Social Club such as racecar simulators, a golf simulator, and other fun pre-show games. Yachtley Crew will take the stage at 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn these uncertain times, our focus must remain on our mission. The (Music Hall’s) recent cancellation of the Lovering Health Center event and subsequent fallout with the venue are distracting from our event, the ability to sell tickets and our purpose,\u201d said Betsey Andrews Parker, chief executive officer of Community Action Partnership of Strafford County “As the CEO, it is my responsibility to safeguard our programs, the people we serve, and the CAPSC team.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

CAPSC announced it was working with The Music Hall to quickly gather ticket sale information, to ensure that all ticketholders will receive new tickets with the updated venue information via email.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are so grateful to the generosity of partners like Black Rock Social Club, who are allowing us to curate an elevated concert experience,\u201d Andrews Parker said, \u201cNot only will this venue allow the show to go on, but it will take this event to a new level that will keep everyone happy all night long. Similarly, Kate Malloy and her team at Purple Finch Events have stepped in to help create a memorable event.\u201d<\/p>\n
