The singer-songwriter delivered his rendition of the record with a skillfully assembled band complete with a string and horn section, turning the explosive pop record into something more suited for a walk down the aisle.<\/p>\n
Certain moments in Capaldi\u2019s take on \u201cStill Into You\u201d evoke the warm opening chords of Coldplay\u2019s \u201cFix You.\u201d During his visit, he also selected two of his own records to perform, the currently unreleased record \u201cAlmost\u201d and \u201cPointless,\u201d from his 2023 album Broken By Desire to Be Heavenly Sent. Capaldi rounded out the session with the live version of his latest single, \u201cSomething in the Heavens.\u201d<\/p>\n
