On Oct. 6, 1995, Garth Brooks<\/a> ran a full-page ad in USA Today with an unusual message: \u201cYou can\u2019t see it. You can\u2019t buy it. But you can hear it. New Garth Brooks music \u2014 only on country radio.\u201d<\/p>\n Brooks\u2019 new album at the time, Fresh Horses, would not be released until that Nov. 21, but the first single from the project, ballad \u201cShe\u2019s Every Woman,\u201d could indeed be heard on country stations as it burned through the competition.
