The post Taylor Swift\u2019s ex reacts to \u2018The Life of a Showgirl\u2019<\/a> appeared first on ClutchPoints<\/a>.<\/p>\n Taylor Swift<\/a>\u2019s ex has some thoughts about The Life of a Showgirl.<\/a><\/p>\n The 14-time Grammy winner released her 12th studio album on Oct. 3, which has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, becoming her 15th chart-topping album, earning her the most chart-topping albums of any solo artist. \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia,\u201d the album\u2019s lead single, also reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. Additionally, all 12 songs occupied the Hot 100 uninterrupted, making it the first album to ever accomplish that feat.<\/p>\n In an interview published on Oct. 20 in Esquire, Joe Jonas, whom Swift dated briefly in 2008, commented<\/a> on the singer\u2019s latest project.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve heard some of it,\u201d Jonas told the outlet. \u201cI think she\u2019s obviously the biggest artist out there, and I think it\u2019s good. Everybody\u2019s got an opinion about it, but from what I\u2019ve heard, there are some catchy melodies.\u201d<\/p>\n While Swift and Jonas were only dating for about three months in 2008, it is still one of her most infamous relationships. She spoke about it on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and how she mentioned their breakup in 2012.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s one that\u2019s about [Jonas], but that guy\u2019s not in my life anymore unfortunately,\u201d she told DeGeneres. \u201cWhen I find that person that is right for me, he\u2019ll be wonderful, and when I look at that person, I\u2019m not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18.\u201d<\/p>\n She referred to the callout to which Jonas received a lot of backlash when she returned to the show in 2019<\/a> sharing that her comment was \u201cmouthy\u201d yet they \u201claugh about it now.\u201d<\/p>\n A lot of time has passed since Jonas and Swift were an item and they have gone their separate ways romantically. Jonas ended up marrying Sophie Turner in 2019 and they share two daughters: Willa and Delphine. However, they ended up getting divorced<\/a> in 2024.
