The conductor will assume the new position in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The news was announced by the Cultura de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires, Gabriela Ricardes, and General Director Gerado Grieco.<\/p>\n<p>In his new position, P\u00e9rez will conduct two productions and three concerts during the 2026 season.<\/p>\n<p>P\u00e9rez is a well-known conductor who has been the Music Director of the Flemish Opera in Belgium and has also collaborated with the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Wiener Staatsoper, Semperoper Dresden, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Teatro dell\u2019Opera di Roma,\u00a0 Teatro Real de Madrid, and the Paris Opera.
