Virginia Giuffre<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s family offered a plea to the royal family while promoting her posthumously released memoir, Nobody\u2019s Girl<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Virginia\u2019s brother, Sky Roberts<\/strong>, and his wife, Amanda<\/strong>, appeared on the U.K.\u2019s ITV show This Morning<\/em> on Tuesday, October 21. Host Cat Deeley<\/strong> asked the couple if they had a message for the royals as Prince Andrew<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s connection to late convicted billionaire sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein<\/strong> continues to make headlines.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say you have an opportunity to promote change,\u201d Amanda said. \u201cYou have an opportunity to say that you\u2019ll be a royal family who protects the innocent no matter who is implicated, that you\u2019ll stand on the right thing.\u201d<\/p>\n

She added, \u201cYou have an opportunity for your people to trust you, and for other governments and other worlds to trust you, and we\u2019re hoping that you\u2019re going to do the right thing. I think it\u2019s been far too long. Our sister has waited far too long for that acknowledgement and that justice, and we would hope that we can trust you to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tVirginia Giuffre\u2019s tragic death at the age of 41 has raised some questions amongst some family members and the general public. On April 25, Giuffre\u2019s family confirmed the woman who accused Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew of sexual abuse and sex trafficking had died by suicide in Australia. \u201cGiuffre lost her life to suicide, after [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The royal family has not publicly commented on Virginia\u2019s memoir or recent<\/p>\n

Virginia first accused Andrew of sexual assault in 2019, claiming that thier first encounter took place in 2001 when she was 17 years old. Andrew vehemently denied her claims at the time, even alleging that they never met, despite their being a photo of them together. Andrew eventually stepped back from his public facing royal duties.<\/p>\n

Years later, Virginia sued Andrew for sexual abuse in 2021. The two settled outside of court<\/a> the following year. In her book, Virginia wrote that she planned to use the settlement money \u201cto do some good\u201d and develop the Speak Out, Act, Reclaim (Soar) foundation.<\/p>\n

Virginia wrote that her goal was \u201cfor Soar to combat human trafficking by supporting organizations that focus on prosecution, protection, and prevention.\u201d<\/p>\n

News broke earlier this year that Virginia died by suicide at age 41<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In the wake of her death, emails between Epstein and Andrew resurfaced. Andrew previously claimed that he had cut off contact with Epstein in December 2010. However, the emails were dated 2011<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The correspondence between the two came just before Virginia\u2019s memoir, which details the alleged sexual assault she faced at the hands of both Andrew and Epstein, was released.<\/p>\n
