Slipknot’s<\/a> DJ and keyboardist Sid Wilson <\/strong>shared a new project that will take him musically in a different direction. The heavy metal rocker, who is engaged to Kelly Osbourne<\/strong>, just launched his own record label, Vomit Face Records.<\/p>\n Wilson’s first signed artist is interesting: Lil Bushwick<\/strong>, the son of the late Geto Boys rapper Bushwick Bill.<\/strong><\/p>\n “Bushwick Bill and I had made a promise to each other to make an album,” Wilson shared in a statement obtained by Revolver.<\/a> “After several roadblocks in scheduling, Bill sadly, and unfortunately, passed away due to illness most were unaware of.”<\/p>\n The statement continued, “In meeting his son and discovering that he too was a music artist, I made a promise to the spirit of the great Bushwick, that I would fulfill our pact by producing an album for his son. We did just that, and through the help of a dear friend DJ Lethal<\/strong>, we were able to add an unreleased track of Bill\u2019s, and I\u2019m proud to say, we made the impossible possible for this iconic hip-hop lineage of father and son.”<\/p>\n Lil Bushwick, whose real name is Javon Shaw, has been making music for nearly a decade, but previously used the name Yung KNXW<\/strong>.
