According to an English translation of the article, she said there are \u201cmore women on the technical teams\u201d and \u201cmany more female creators,\u201d which encourages a \u201cstronger support network.\u201d<\/p>\nShe added, \u201cIt\u2019s important to mention that there\u2019s progress, but there\u2019s still much to be done, and not all shoots or projects achieve this. There are many actresses who may feel very protected, but there are also many others who don\u2019t. It\u2019s still a work in progress, and we haven\u2019t reached any milestones yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
Traisac said she hopes Spain\u2019s entertainment scene will see a movement similar to #MeToo<\/a> so that women feel safer and more empowered to speak up when they\u2019ve experienced abuse on set. She noted that \u201cfundamental changes, not just in rhetoric,\u201d are crucial so that \u201cmany people are able to share what happened to them and so that the power structures realize that things need to change and that a clean slate is necessary.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
