As paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren (Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga)<\/a> watched their daughter Judy (Mia Tomlinson) marry Tony Spera (Ben Hardy), members of the haunted families they rescued in past installments popped up among the attendees.<\/p>\nLili Taylor and Mackenzie Foy, from the 2013 original The Conjuring’s Perron family, showed up, and O.G. director-producer James Wan also appeared onscreen.<\/p>\n

Director Chaves told The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> scheduling conflicts prevented a larger franchise reunion from happening.<\/p>\n“We were totally talking to them, but they were also shooting something else at the time. If we were all in the same city then it would\u2019ve been possible for them to just duck over, but we were shooting in England,” he explained.<\/p>\n
“Honestly, we were trying to get everybody who has ever been in a\u00a0Conjuring\u00a0movie into that wedding scene, but we just couldn\u2019t,” said Chaves. “It\u2019s really hard to schedule something like that.”<\/p>\n

We won\u2019t worry about the age gap or anything.’ But she was shooting something, and we couldn\u2019t do that.”<\/p>\n
