Bruce Willis’ spouse, Emma Heming, has lauded a politician<\/a> who “continues to inspire her.”<\/p>\n

Throughout the Die Hard star’s<\/a> health battle over recent years, his family has candidly shared their journey and challenges. His partner has previously confessed feeling “deeply alone” during his health crisis, while his daughter Rumer has posted heart-wrenching messages to him.<\/p>\n

Despite moments of “no hope,”<\/a> they persist in supporting each other and focusing on the positive, which is precisely what Emma did when she announced on Instagram that New York<\/a> has officially enacted the FTD Registry Bill, becoming the first state to establish a research registry for frontotemporal dementia.<\/p>\n

She expressed, “I am so proud to share that the FTD registry bill has officially been signed into law in New York<\/a> by Governor [Kathy] Hochul.<\/p>\n

“This is a historic first,” Emma further stated. “It’s the very first statewide registry in the nation dedicated to frontotemporal dementia.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, “Because of you and the advocates who work beside you, and Governor Hochul<\/a>, we now have this model law that every state can follow,” she continued, before expressing her gratitude to the senator for “fighting for this bill for two years and getting it to the finish line.”<\/p>\n

The model shared her intentions to figure out how to apply the law in California<\/a>, where she and Bruce reside.<\/p>\n

Emma has devoted her social media platforms to raising awareness about FTD ever since Bruce was diagnosed with the disease in February 2023. His health has since deteriorated and his conditions have worsened.<\/p>\n

Friend and writer Glenn Gordon Caron previously spoke to The celebrity.land<\/a> about Bruce’s health, stating, “He’s not totally verbal; he used to be a voracious reader – he didn’t want anyone to know that – and he’s not reading now.<\/p>\n

“All those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce,” he added. “When you’re with him you know that he’s Bruce and you’re grateful that he’s there, but the joie de vivre is gone.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
