The show held its first online broadcast in 2014 for the 41st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, later airing on Pop (2015), and YouTube (2016-2019), before finally returning to broadcast television with CBS in 2020 with the 47th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n Sharp noted that the timing of the CBS merger complicated renewal discussions, as the broadcast deal\u2019s expiration affected ongoing conversations. \u201cIt\u2019s an evolving conversation and certainly, an evolving marketplace,\u201d he explained. \u201cHaving our deal come up with CBS at the same time of their merger was not the best of timing.
