An Australian food influencer has died after giving birth to her first son at home. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Stacey Hatfield\u2019s husband, Nathan Warnecke, announced in a touching tribute on <\/span>Instagram <\/span><\/a>Monday that she died on Sept. 29. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cIts with heavy heart that i share with you the unexpected passing of my beautiful wife, soul mate and best friend, Stacey Warnecke (Hatfield),\u201d Warnecke wrote on Hatfield\u2019s \u201cNatural Spoonfuls\u201d Instagram page.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Hatfield\u2019s nearly 24,000 Instagram followers knew her for her health content and toxin-free lifestyle. She founded her company, Natural Spoonfuls, in 2019 before creating the social media content creation company Waffl.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Her husband revealed that Hatfield \u201csuccessfully\u201d gave birth to their son Axel at home but died \u201cshortly after an unforeseen and extremely rare complication arose.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Warnecke did not share details about the complications Hatfield faced.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cShe passed after being transferred to [the] hospital. Hospital staff were amazing and did the utmost to help, but ultimately nothing could be done despite their best efforts,\u201d he noted. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Warnecke, who said he knew Hatfield for nine years, praised her as \u201cthe light of my life\u201d and \u201cthe reason I got up in the morning.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWords can\u2019t do justice to how devastating this is for myself and everyone that knew and loved her,\u201d he added, before gushing that she was the \u201cmost beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being i\u2019ve ever known.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
