The show opened with IV of Spades<\/a> performing \u201cAura,\u201d the pop-rock quartet\u2019s comeback single that reintroduced their signature flair and tight musicianship. Ang OA [pakinggan] pero kung ako talaga, seeing my peers out there and seeing my friends and all the people that supported OPM inside a space, in one place, it fills our hearts,\u201d Maki told Rolling Stone Philippines<\/em> backstage. \u201cAnd para sa akin, doon ko na-realize na oh, ito yung meaning kung bakit namin ginagawa \u2018to. And I\u2019m just really, really happy that I get to represent OPM and I get to be me inside MOA Arena.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hip-hop icon Gloc-9<\/a> took the stage to perform \u201cUpuan,\u201d the politically charged track that became an anthem of social change in 2009, while remaining just as relevant in the country\u2019s current political climate, particularly in light of recent corruption scandals centering around bogus flood control projects.
