The second season will have eight episodes.<\/p>\n Elba, who was nominated for an Emmy for Season 1, returns along with Christine Adams, Max Beasley and Archie Panjabi. New stars for Season 2 are<\/p>\n Here\u2019s the logline for Season 2:<\/p>\n In the thrilling second season of Hijack\u201d a Berlin underground train and its commuters are taken hostage, while authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives. Sam Nelson (Elba) is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster.<\/em><\/p>\n The series is produced by 60Forty Films and Idiotlamp Productions. Executive producers are Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta and Tom Nash at 60Forty Films, alongside executive producers Kay and Field Smith for Idiotlamp Productions. Field Smith is also the series\u2019 lead director.<\/p>\n Season 2 of Hijack premieres on Jan. 14, 2026 with its first two episodes.
