Janet Jackson<\/strong><\/a> wanted Tupac Shakur<\/strong><\/a> to take an AIDS test before a kissing scene in their 1993 movie, Poetic Justice, a new book claims.<\/p>\n In his biography, Only God Can Judge Me: The Many Lives of Tupac Shakur, biographer Jeff Pearlman<\/strong> recounts on-set hostilities between Jackson, 59, and the late rapper, including an incident that took place before the two stars were due to film an intimate scene.<\/p>\n \u201cS*** hit the fan late in the process, when it was time to film a kissing scene,\u201d Pearlman writes in the book, an excerpt of which was published by The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> on Monday, October 20. \u201cIn the days beforehand, Tupac talked nonstop about overwhelming Jackson with his lips and tongue. He thought he was being cute. She did not.\u201d<\/p>\n Pearlman interviewed the movie\u2019s producer Steve Nicolaides<\/strong>, who recalled the awkward conversations he had with both Jackson and Shakur.<\/p>\n The Most Shocking Celebrity Deaths of All Time: Diane Keaton, Malcolm-Jamal Warner and More<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cNicolaides was summoned to Jackson\u2019s trailer, where she sat with her fianc\u00e9, a dancer named Ren\u00e9 Elizondo Jr.<\/strong> \u2018You know, Tupac\u2019s reputation is that he\u2019s a cat about town,\u2019 Jackson said. \u2018And I don\u2019t want to swap saliva with him until I\u2019m really sure that he\u2019s healthy and clean,\u2019\u201d writes Pearlman.<\/p>\n Per the book, Nicolaides asked Jackson whether she\u2019d raised her concerns with the film\u2019s director, the late John Singleton<\/strong>, but Jackson said, \u201cJohn just walked off when I mentioned it. So I\u2019m asking you to handle it.\u201d The producer then \u201ctook a couple of deep breaths and walked over to Tupac, who was sitting alone in his trailer,\u201d writes Pearlman.<\/p>\n Pearlman continues, \u201c\u2018Sooooo … Tupac,\u2019 he said. Tupac looked up. \u2018I\u2019ll just spit this out to you, man,\u2019 he said. ‘Janet wants you to have an AIDS test before you kiss her.’ \u2018You kidding?\u2019 Tupac asked. \u2018No,\u2019 said Nicolaides. \u2018F*** her,’ Tupac said. \u2018I ain\u2019t doing s*** for that bitch.
