For many Americans<\/a>, Netflix<\/a>\u2019s \u201cFormula 1: Drive to Survive<\/a>\u201d was their introduction to Formula 1<\/a> when it debuted in 2019. That only grew this year with Apple<\/a>\u2019s \u201cF1: The Movie<\/a>,\u201d the Brad Pitt<\/a>-led feature film that raked in $629 million worldwide.<\/p>\n

So when it came time for F1 to choose a new streaming partner \u2014 their deal with ESPN<\/a> comes to an end at the end of 2025 after eight years \u2014 they had serious conversations with both Netflix and Apple TV.<\/p>\n
