Park visitors are getting their first look at testing of the new \u201cFast & Furious\u201d ride<\/a> at Universal Studios Hollywood<\/a>, which is set to open next year.<\/p>\n Dylan Dickson, who runs Theme Park Obsession<\/a>, posted several short video clips to social media on Tuesday, showing one of the trains being gently propelled by an electromagnetic launch just before the mammoth inversion in the lower lot of the park.<\/p>\n Full-speed testing hasn\u2019t begun \u2013 at least not during the park\u2019s normal business hours when the footage was recorded.<\/p>\n \u201cAnother swing launch today I was able to capture,\u201d Dylan wrote. \u201c(It) still didn\u2019t go over the inversion, that won\u2019t be until later but it\u2019s still so fun to watch the train at this segment.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cFast & Furious: Hollywood Drift\u201d<\/a> will be Universal Studios Hollywood\u2019s first high-speed outdoor coaster and will feature rotating cars that mimic the drifting action from the \u201cFast & Furious\u201d movie franchise.<\/p>\n Dylan Dickson, who runs Theme Park Obsession, posted several short video clips to social media of \u201cFast & Furious: Hollywood Drift\u201d testing at Universal Studios Hollywood.
