There will also be surprise sets curated by Electrical Audio, the local recording studio founded by Steve Albini.<\/p>\n<p>The new festival takes place Sept. 10-14 at a variety of local venues in and around Avondale, including Constellation, Hungry Brain, Judson &amp; Moore, Beat Kitchen, Guild Row and Rockwell on the River, \u201ccapitalizing on the neighborhood\u2019s walkability,\u201d according to the event\u2019s official press announcement. All the venues are within a five- to 15-minute walk from each other, according to organizers.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>Sound &amp; Gravity\u2019s aim is to \u201creflect the eclectic programming ethos of <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/constellation-chicago.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener external\" data-wpel-link=\"external\">Constellation Performing Arts<\/a>,\u201d a Northwest Side music venue that Reed also founded, according to a press release about the fest.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"scaip scaip-1    \">\n\t\t<\/aside>\n<p>Tickets for Sound &amp; Gravity go on sale 11 a.m. Wednesday.
