Kevin Federline\u2019s explosive tell-all memoir has been released and\u00a0 has ex-wife Britney Spears wanting to \u201cstay in bed\u201d <\/a>following his revelations, which he admits he didn\u2019t talk to her about before releasing the book.<\/p>\n

Federline\u2019s book, You Thought You Knew, was officially released Oct. 21, and makes several startling claims about his ex, the #FreeBritney movement, the impact it had on him and the children they share, and more.<\/p>\n

And while the 47-year-old has suffered some blows from the book, with some fans calling him a \u201cscumbag\u201d over the revelations<\/a>, his side of the story is still making waves.<\/p>\n

Now, he has revealed more of his side of the story \u2013 including whether or not he spoke to Spears before releasing the book, in a new interview.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie \u201cO\u201d Henderson of the Kyle and Jackie O radio show, he admitted that he hadn\u2019t touched base with Spears in several years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWell, I mean, look, the situation is bad and I don\u2019t really want to dive into her privacy,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I felt like I needed to tell the stories that have happened and come forward and tell the truth and just really ring the alarm and try to get some support for my sons and the people that care about her, because I\u2019m actually terrified that something bad is going to happen if nobody steps in.\u201d<\/p>\n

Federline and Spears were married for three years, from 2004-2007, and welcomed their sons, Sean Preston, now 20, in 2005, and Jayden James, now 19, in 2006.<\/p>\n

Prior to his relationship with Spears, Federline was engaged to Shar Jackson, with whom he shared a daughter, Kori Madison, now 23, and a son, Kaleb Michael, now 21.<\/p>\n

He married Victoria Prince in 2013, and they share a daughter, Peyton Marie.<\/p>\n

Spears, meanwhile, was famously under a restrictive conservatorship helmed by her father, Jamie Spears, until November 2021. She married Sam Asghari<\/a> in June 2022, but separated just 14 months later, with a divorce finalized in May 2024.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
