Season seven of The Kardashians <\/em>kicked off with a shocking health update for Kim Kardashian as she revealed to her family that medics had found something concerning when she underwent an MRI scan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new season of the reality TV<\/a> show began airing today (October 23), and saw Kim K<\/a> getting candid about everything from her health to her relationship<\/a> with Kanye West<\/a>.<\/p>\n

One health<\/a> update Kim gave during the show was that she’s started experiencing psoriasis again, saying: \u201cI haven\u2019t had psoriasis since I got divorced, and it just started coming back.<\/p>\n

\u201cI mean, I have psoriasis again. I felt more stressed, probably just because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect.\u201d<\/p>\n

Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes red and sometimes itchy patches on the skin, but it’s not the only diagnosis that Kim has linked to stress.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere in the episode, the Skims founder was chatting with her older sister, Kourtney<\/a>, about a recent hospital visit in which doctors discovered a ‘little’ aneurysm in Kim’s brain.<\/p>\n

The revelation naturally caught Kourtney off guard, as she reacted with shock to her sister’s news.<\/p>\n

Per<\/a> the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm is a bulge or ballooning in a blood vessel in the brain, which experts believe grows because blood flowing through the blood vessel puts pressure on a weak area of the vessel wall.<\/p>\n

Brain aneurysms are common and most aren’t serious, especially if they’re small – like Kim suggested her’s was.<\/p>\n

However, they can become life-threatening if they rupture.<\/p>\n

Kim was later seen having an MRI scan on the show, with the businesswoman at one point saying that doctors had informed her the aneurysm was probably triggered by stress.<\/p>\n

According to<\/a> Supreme Vascular, stress does not itself cause a brain aneurysm to form, but it can increase your risk of high blood pressure, which in turn increases your risk of experiencing a brain aneurysm.<\/p>\n

The Cleveland Clinic adds<\/a> that researchers think high blood pressure is the most common cause of a rupture, with ongoing stress being among the situations that can increase blood pressure.<\/p>\n

When discussing her more recent health issues, Kim said she had recently felt ‘pretty tested’ by West, despite filing for divorced in 2021.<\/p>\n

She noted: \u201cPeople think that I have the luxury of walking away. My ex will be in my life no matter what. We have four kids together.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
