One of the stars of Celebrity Traitors has hit out at the \u2018hierarchy\u2019 which celebrities had on the BBC show.<\/p>\n

Ruth Codd stole the show in the early episodes of the celebrity-<\/a>focused spin-off of The Traitors, with the actress receiving a great deal of praise for her no-nonsense attitude and willingness to challenge big names on the show.<\/p>\n

Codd was killed by the Traitors<\/a> at the start of Thursday\u2019s episode after casting aspersions on Jonathan Ross, uttering the iconic line about him: \u201cDon\u2019t p*ss in my ear and tell me it\u2019s raining.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, the actor has spoken about the supposed \u2018hierarchy\u2019 of the celebrities on the TV<\/a> show, which she believes was part of why she was sent home.<\/p>\n

Codd has opened up about the show in a new interview with The Times, in which she spoke<\/a> about how the off-camera aspect of the show was incredibly difficult.<\/p>\n

Paid \u00a340,000<\/a> for their time on the show each, the celebs were sequestered throughout filming in a hotel near the castle in Inverness, where Celebrity Traitors is filmed.<\/p>\n

During this time, they aren\u2019t allowed to talk to one another, must be chaperoned by a production staff member for anything outside their room, and must use a production phone to call loved ones.<\/p>\n

In addition, Codd opened up about a question many fans will probably have \u2013 how much booze they\u2019re allowed each night.<\/p>\n

Unsurprisingly this is kept strictly limited, with each celeb only allowed two alcoholic drinks a night.<\/p>\n

Speaking, however, about her exit, Codd said: \u201cThere was probably an unspoken hierarchy in there, and that placed certain people like myself at a disadvantage, because I haven\u2019t been in the industry very long.<\/p>\n

\u201cSometimes being a strong woman can be lonely, because you\u2019re branded as aggressive and difficult. I don\u2019t think I\u2019m any of those things. I just speak my mind.\u201d<\/p>\n

This quote was shared on social media, leading to a debate on the fact she felt there was a \u2018hierarchy\u2019 in the castle.<\/p>\n

Many pointed out that Clare Balding was also voted out, though others quickly defended her.<\/p>\n

One reply on X (formerly Twitter<\/a>) said: \u201cHate her all you want, she\u2019s spot on. Same thing happened to Niko.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking about his exit from the show,<\/a> Niko Omilana said that all the celebs were lovely but that they made up the \u2018worst Faithfuls ever\u2019.<\/p>\n

Speaking about his exit on his Instagram<\/a> stories, Niko said: \u201cThe way in which they\u2019re approaching the game is, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s Niko, you are a YouTuber, you are gone, you untrustworthy scum.<\/p>\n

\u201cOne thing which you guys didn\u2019t see was, that roundtable is the most intense thing I\u2019ve ever seen in my life. And, obviously, they have to cut it down for TV and make it shorter, but there were some people going crazy on me.\u201d<\/p>\n
