Ubisoft has announced plans to offer voluntary redundancies to staff at its Swedish subsidiary Massive Entertainment.<\/p>\n

In a post shared on social media<\/a>, the studio said it had “introduced a voluntary career transition program” as part of its “ongoing evolution and long-term planning” to “ensure [its] continued focus on The Division franchise and technologies” including its Snowdrop engine and Ubisoft Connect.<\/p>\n

The statement continued: “To support this transition responsibly, we introduced a voluntary career transition program, giving eligible team members the opportunity to take their next career step on their own terms, supported by a comprehensive package that includes financial and career assistance.”<\/p>\n

Based in Malm\u00f6, Massive Entertainment is known for Tom Clancy’s The Division series, and recently worked on Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.<\/p>\n
