Kristen Bell and Adam Brody are back to their charming-but-dysfunctional relationship grind. In addition to the returning cast, there are some very exciting additions for the season, including one who may or may not be married to Adam Brody. Yep, Leighton Meester is joining the cast for this season. Huge!!<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">We know she plays a character named Abby, a former middle school nemesis of Joanne&#8217;s who comes back into her life in a surprising way. She&#8217;s a mommy influencer now, so basically the embodiment of everything Joanne hates. Without spoiling anything if you&#8217;re just starting to watch the season, it&#8217;s a very fun role for Leighton to play and she absolutely eats it up, in my opinion. I was really taken by everybody&#8217;s kindness and their talent, and how that whole show came together.
