Barbara Bush<\/strong> can\u2019t imagine life without her twin sister, Jenna Bush Hager<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy sister is my biggest partner,\u201d Barbara, 43, shared in Deborah Roberts<\/strong>\u2019 new book Sisters Loved and Treasured: Stories of Unbreakable Bonds<\/i>. \u201cIn my mind, when we\u2019re old, we\u2019re going to be living together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenna, 43, added, \u201cThat\u2019s our hope.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Barbara is older by one minute, she\u2019s quick to praise Jenna as \u201cthe partner who was always next to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their bond is so strong that Barbara doesn\u2019t want to picture a world where her sister isn\u2019t by her side.<\/p>\n

\u201cFrankly, I don\u2019t mean to be morbid, but I hope we die at the same time,\u201d she said in the book. \u201cI\u2019ve never known the world without Jenna in it, and I would be devastated to be in it without her.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jenna added, \u201cWe\u2019ve written books on sisterhood, so we\u2019ve talked about this. That\u2019s the only reason we\u2019re not crying right now. \u2026 We always have this dream. We\u2019re just going to live in a small house together with 37 cats, a lot of books, some great food and some power walking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sisters Loved and Treasured<\/i> features more than 50 personal stories by Viola Davis<\/strong>, Octavia Spencer<\/strong>, Sara Haines<\/strong>, Shonda Rhimes<\/strong> and more stars sharing what sisterhood means to them.<\/p>\n

After the book was released on Tuesday, October 21, Roberts shared what she admired most about Jenna and Barbara\u2019s sibling bond.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, they\u2019re twins and there is a very unusual and unique relationship between twins. Believe it or not, they actually have a language, they call it cryptophasia. Even from the crib, they are babbling together,\u201d Roberts, 65, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> at the American Ballet Theatre 2025 Fall Gala on Wednesday, October 22. \u201cThey understand each other in a different way. That in itself was unique and interesting to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

Roberts was also impressed that Barbara, Jenna and other sisters made it a priority to stay connected no matter how busy life became.<\/p>\n

\u201cA lot of people try to stay connected as they get older,\u201d she shared, \u201cbut if you work hard and hold onto that relationship because it is treasured, it will just absolutely enrich your life in all kinds of ways.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Barbara focuses on activism and social justice, Jenna continues to wake up with America as she hosts Today With Jenna and Friends<\/i><\/span><\/a> weekdays on NBC.<\/p>\n

Although Barbara has served as a guest cohost, she previously stated that she would never want her sister\u2019s job as a morning show host.<\/p>\n
