Lt. Joe Leaphorn has discovered his latest case in the first-look teaser for Season 4 of AMC and AMC+\u2019s thriller series \u201cDark Winds,\u201d returning on Feb. 15, 2026. The new season will consist of eight hour-long episodes.<\/p>\n
Based on the \u201cLeaphorn & Chee\u201d book series and adapted by Graham Roland, \u201cDark Winds\u201d takes place in the 1970s and centers on members of the Navajo Tribal Police as they solve mysteries on their reservation, which is surrounded by violent crimes.<\/p>\n
More from Variety<\/strong><\/p>\n Zahn McClarnon executive produces and stars as Lt. Joe Leaphorn. He will also make his directorial debut in the upcoming season.<\/p>\n Rounding out the cast are Kiowa Gordon as Jim Chee, Jessica Matten as Bernadette Manuelito and Deanna Allison as Emma Leaphorn.<\/p>\n The fourth season will focus on \u201cthe search for a missing Navajo girl, which takes Leaphorn, Chee and Manuelito from the safety of the Navajo Nation to the gritty terrain of 1970s Los Angeles in a race against the clock to save her from an obsessive killer with ties to organized crime,\u201d the official description reads.<\/p>\n Season 4 will also introduce a roster of new cast members including including Franka Potente as Irene Vaggan, Isabel DeRoy-Olson as Billie Tsosie, Chaske Spencer as Sonny, Luke Barnett as FBI Special Agent Toby Shaw and Titus Welliver as Dominic McNair.<\/p>\n A. Martinez is also set to return in Season 4 as Scarborough Police Department Acting Chief Gordo Sena.<\/p>\n John Wirth serves as showrunner.
