Scott Cooper<\/a>, the writer-director of \u201cSpringsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere<\/a>,\u201d tells me that the Boss is already talking about a sequel.<\/p>\n

\u201cI suppose if you can make four Beatles movies, you can make a couple of Bruce Springsteen movies,\u201d Cooper<\/a> said Wednesday at the AFI Fest opening night premiere of \u201cDeliver Me From Nowhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

The four upcoming Beatles movies he\u2019s referring to are Sam Mendes\u2019 separate films about John Lennon<\/a> (Harris Dickinson<\/a>), Paul McCartney<\/a> (Paul Mescal<\/a>), Ringo Starr<\/a> (Barry Keoghan<\/a>) and George Harrison<\/a> (Joseph Quinn<\/a>). They are set for a theatrical release in 2028.<\/p>\n

\u201cDeliver Me From Nowhere\u201d dramatizes Springsteen\u2019s album recording for his 1982 release \u201cNebraska<\/a>,\u201d as he battled depression and the haunting memories of his traumatic childhood. Jeremy Allen White stars as the singer-songwriter with Odessa Young<\/a> as his girlfriend and Jeremy Strong<\/a> portraying his manager Jon Landau<\/a>.<\/p>\n
